En un combate Chessboxing, dos oponentes juegan rondas de ajedrez y boxeo alterno durante 11 asaltos, 6 rondas de ajedrez de 4 minutos cada una y 5 rondas de boxeo de 3 minutos cada una. Entre las rondas hay 1 minuto de pausa para cambiar de equipo.

In a Chessboxing, fight two oponents play alternate chess and boxing rounds during 11 rounds, 6 chess rounds of 4 minutes each and 5 boxing rounds of 3 minutes each. Between the rounds have 1 minute of pause for change of team. 




Cada oponente tiene 12 minutos en el ajedrez. El combate se decide por jaque mate, KO y si no el árbitro lo decidirá (Blitz). Si las rondas de ajedrez terminan en un Draw, es decir, en empate, gana el oponente con las piezas negras.
